Crafts and Cats Motivational Posters

I hope a lot of you were able to participate in  Elycia's and Chantilly's craft night they had on Tuesday. [if you missed it, you can find the recording of it here] I unfortunately missed it, but the girls made sure I was there in spirit. If you watch the video that thing taped to the mirror behind them...yeah, that's me. Creepin' with my Creeper!  I sent them 3 silly photos to choose from and thought I would share them here with you all today.  I'm going to try and make my own cute felt camera this weekend.  [link me to yours if you made the event!]

Handmade Holiday Workshop

Yesterday I mentioned I would be helping out at the West Elm + Etsy Handmade Holiday Workshop. It was a fantastic event and I want to thank West Elm Atlantic Station and all their employees for their warm hospitality. I loved meeting all the creative people that came out and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves. :D

More Fun With Paper

You guys might remember when I turned Tera and her family into little paper buddies. Around that same time I worked on some other paper craft projects that I wanted to share today.

[I do apologize for the quality, I only took pictures with my phone before I sent them off]

I made this birthday card for My Girl Thursday

Then I made this postcard for Giggles, Glitz, & Glam

Spaaaaace!

After reading Tanie's space shirt tutorial on her blog Cupcake Wishes and Unicorn Dreams, I knew I had to give it a go! If my bank was going to deny me having a space background on my debit card-- I was going to make up for it by space-ifying my clothes!

On Wednesday I got together with other space clothing enthusiasts and we went to town with bleach, dye, and wine! I think everyone's came out great. :D
*All pictures are courtesy of Jinah --except for the last 6 where I am wearing the shirts.

Materials!
I put a rubber band on one of my shirts

All of our work right before we painted the stars!

What I've Been Doing

Hope everyone had a great weekend! The weather wasn't nearly as nice as it was last weekend but at least the rain let up some. I've spent the past couple of days cutting, painting, and assembling new necklaces for my Etsy shop. I only have one up right now but hopefully I can photograph the rest tomorrow and get them up. :)  Here are some sneak peeks:

The colors aren't all that accurate since I just took some quick snapshots with my phone, but you get an idea.

So what did everyone else do with their weekend? If you watched the Super Bowl game I hope your team won! I watched mainly for the commercials and the half-time show... which I felt both left something to be desired. The tiny Darth Vader was really cute though.
