Flashback Friday 2/25/11 Comic-Con Part 3

...and we are back on the road to Comic Con 2009. In the next installment we will actually have photos taken AT Comic Con--exciting, I know.  Until then--have some shots from good ol' Santa Fe, New Mexico!

Most of these are taken from a moving vehicle because we had a deadline to make! I still really like the them, motion blur and all.

When I wasn't taking photos from the back seat I was usually sleeping in the back seat! Holly made it a habit to take a photo every time I went to sleep. I eventually trained myself to wake up when I heard her camera focusing. ;p

We stuck around long enough to visit some friends, check out some stores + galleries, and get Holly a cowboy hat!

I don't like my smile, so I usually end up looking completely disinterested most of the time. :\

Flashback Friday 2/11/11 Comic-Con Part 2

Continuing with the road trip across the U.S. to get to Comic Con 2009!

This was the day I got to see the Grand Canyon....but before we made it there we became distracted by all these signs talking about this GIANT CRATER.  So, we veered off the main road to see this GIANT CRATER. Except when we finally got there they wanted crazy amounts of money and we ended up turning back around. I don't even remember what the crater was called now but it might as well have been named Money Pit Crater.

See how excited we are about how expensive that place was? I know--it's almost palpable.

So then we kept driving, and driving, and driving. Until there it was--THE GRAND FREAKIN' CANYON! Unfortunately we got there about an hour before the sun went down but it was beautiful and I can't wait to go back.

Creed overtook me or something.  haha-ew

Flashback Friday 2/04/11 Comic-Con Part 1

In 2009 me and two of my friends drove cross country to attend the San Diego Comic-Con...and well, I never posted the pictures. :X So the next few Flashback Fridays will be dedicated to posting images from that trip. I'm just going to post them in the order I edit them so they may or may not be in any consecutive order.

Louisiana was our first stop once we left Georgia. I've lived in GA my entire life, I enjoy the heat, but stepping out of the car at this Louisiana rest stop was like stepping onto the surface of the sun! We didn't get to see much of the state because a scary rain storm hit that evening and then we moved on in the morning.

Pretty sure this was Texas. The first thing I see when we get to the rest stop is all the "BEWARE OF RATTLESNAKES" signs.  Nooooo thank you!!

But who am I kidding--they are way more afraid of me.

If Holly's hair is blowing in the wind I will probably take a picture of it.
