MomoCon 2010

Saturday, March 20:
I set up my first booth with Mary Rebecca merchandise at the Artist Bazaar on Georgia Tech campus for MomoCon 2010. I got up at the crack of dawn to be among the first people to grab a space — and I was really happy with the location. It was a great place for foot traffic and a lot of people stopped by!

I couldn't have asked for a better first day of spring! And I'm sure glad I remembered my sunscreen, because as the day went on it got hot!

All in all, I was pleased with the amount of business for my first event, and I thank everyone that helped make it a fantastic day — especially all my customers! I can't wait for the warm weather to stay constant (fingers crossed) so I can hopefully participate in more craft fairs this summer.

(I really wasn't mad in this photo — it was just hard to look into the sun!)

  3. Done and done!

I read an embarrassingly large number of blogs... I was wondering if the other one was for class projects or a portfolio site. In fact, the blogosphere has now completely substituted ss as entertainment in my life...

It looks like the event was a success! Are you going to be at the Athens fair in May? I'm going to head up there to vintage shop and support some of my fave local ladies.
