Taking a break while on break

These last two weeks I have been on break from school. I decided to step back from the computer for a bit so that I could tackle a long to-do list! This is only the 3rd time I've been on my computer since being on break--any Internet activity I've had outside of that has been through my phone.  It's been nice and I've gotten a good bit done. [there is still a lot to do, I made myself a pretty expansive to-do list]

Not everything on the to-do list was outside the Internet though. Craft show season is upon us and I'm really excited to share my new items, so one of the points was to have a HUGE SPRING SALE on my Etsy to clear way for new inventory.  Almost every single thing in my shop is currently on sale--most of the items 50% off!

I hope everyone has been enjoying this great weather we have been having! Warm days really motivate me, when I'm cold all I want to do is hibernate. heh

Eyes, meet Glasses.

GlassesUSA.com contacted me about a month or so back and asked me if I would like to try a pair of their glasses. The timing could not have been more perfect as I had just had my glasses prescription updated--something I had not done in several years.  The last time I bought prescription eyeglasses I ended up being pushed in to getting a pair of glasses I really didn't care for which resulted in me just wearing contacts 99% of the time. So this time I was determined to get a pair of glasses I liked and would enjoy wearing. I'll admit, I obsessed over GlassesUSA.com's site for about a week. Adding and deleting glasses from my cart, using their virtual mirror, and asking several friend's opinions of what they thought would flatter my face.  The site really helps you find and buy glasses you'll love though, it even has a section just for vintage style glasses! ;D I ended up deciding on the iSee012 in black because they have the wayfarer style I like, but at the same time the frame doesn't overwhelm my face.  Since receiving them I've already worn them out several times and received lots of compliments--I definitely  got it right this time! GlassesUSA.com has a great selection of glasses at really affordable prices...oh, and they have sales galore. Cheap prices and great sales are a grad student's dream come true. GlassesUSA.com prides themselves on having a 110% lowest price guarantee and a 100% satisfaction guarantee.
I already want to buy more prescription glasses...I think some tortoise rims are next!

Bonus Awesome-sauce:
1.  GlassesUSA.com is offering my readers 10% off any order. Just use coupon code Blog10
2. Awesome refer-a-friend program! (You can get $30 for each first purchase a referred friend makes - and use the $30 towards your next pair of glasses)
3. A Facebook page and Twitter feed with exclusive discounts for fans
4. Remember those great sales I mentioned? They even have a page that shows you all the current sales and coupons--no need to use you Google-fu!
5. NEW! Their virtual mirror is now share-able--making it even easier for you to find the perfect pair of glasses.  Go ahead, try it out below :D
